Caldwell, N.J. – The Post University women's tennis team remained unbeaten in Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference play as it took down Caldwell, 6-1 on the road on Wednesday.
The Eagles now sit 4-2 overall and 2-0 in the CACC.
Post swept in its doubles match led by seniors Andrea Sandoval and Areej Fareh who won doubles no. 1, 6-0 and junior Macha Mourier and freshman Alexandra Dereban won no. 2 doubles, 6-1.
Sandoval only dropped one game in singles no. 1, topping Janis Jimenez, 6-1, 6-0. Fareh won singles no. 2 I straight sets over Kiana Wiggins, 6-1, 6-4. Mourier won singles no. 2, 6-0, 6-1 and Dereban won her singles no. 4 match over Lauryn Schwint, 6-1, 6-0.
The Eagles have now won five straight matches against Caldwell.
"We are one step closer to our goal," coach Rob Howard said.
Up next, the Eagles take on Chestnut Hill on the road on September 28 at noon.
