Dre Wills Named New Men’s Basketball Assistant Coach

The Post University family is excited to announce Dre Wills as its new men's basketball assistant coach for the 2019-2020 season.

Wills played four years at the University of Vermont where he was the America East Defensive player of the year in his senior season in 2017, made second team All-America East in his sophomore season and made the All-Defensive team in the America East from 2015-2017. He also helped lead the Catamounts to the 2017 regular season and America East Tournament title and a trip to the NCAA tournament. For his career, he averaged 6.9 points per game and 3.6 rebounds per game.

"I coached against Dre when he played at Vermont and he was one the toughest guys I saw in my four years at New Hampshire," head coach Marc Kuntz said. "He has a passion for the game and winning and will bring that every day to make our team better."

At Ben Davis High School in Indianapolis, Willis scored over 1,500 points in his career, and was a three-time MIC All-League performer and led Ben Davis to three sectional championships. Willis also attended a year of prep school at Mercersburg Academy in Pennsylvania where he led them to the Independent-Parochial School League title in 2013.

He has also participated in basketball camps, providing leadership with children in Burlington, Vermont.

Wills has a B.S. degree in Public Communications from the University of Vermont and a Master's degree in Organizational Leadership from the University of Saint Francis.

Please welcome Dre to the Post University family!
