Game Recap: Women's Soccer |

Eagles Tie NYIT, Little Shines In Goal

Waterbury, Conn. – Junior Tayleur Little had a career high 22 saves as the Post University women's soccer team tied the New York Institute of Technology on Saturday afternoon, 1-1.

The Eagles now stand at 0-1-1 on the season.

After a scoreless first half, the Bears got on the board in the 65th minute on a goal from Casey Luongo, to take the 1-0 lead.

It didn't take the Eagles long to respond as freshman defender Amber McGee put home her first goal of the season off a pass from junior Fitore Klloboschista to tie the game at one.

Little's goalkeeping did the rest, saving the final nine shots of the game from the Bears.

Up next, the Eagles take on Saint Anselm in their final non-conference game of the year at 4 p.m. on Wednesday, September 18.
