Men's head basketball coach Marc Kuntz along with assistant coach Brendan Phelps and players D.J. Jarrett and Omar Telfer Jr. headed a two-day basketball mini camp on July 1st and 2nd at Central High School in Bridgeport, CT presented by Bridgeport SRO's and Community.

The camp, titled "Small City, Big Dreams," benefited kids ages 9-17 in the Bridgeport community, an area coach Kuntz spent a lot of time in during his youth.

"My friend from Notre Dame High School [Fairfield], Carlos Carmo, who is a Bridgeport Police Officer contacted me about doing a camp for the kids in Bridgeport. He did an excellent job organizing the event and we got to work with over 60 kids over the two-day camp. It is always great to give back especially to a community where I spent a lot of time growing up. I look forward to working with Carlos to make this an annual event and grow it."
