Lakewood, N.J. - The Post University softball team's season came to an end on Friday afternoon after losing to No. 7 Nyack in the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference tournament, 9-7 in a back and forth game.

The Eagles - seeded fifth -  took an early 1-0 lead in the bottom of the second on an RBI groundout from junior Skylar Devorin (Bethany Beach, Del.) that scored freshman Paige Delier (Milford, N.H.) who walked to open the inning.

Nyack answered with three in the top of the third, highlighted by an RBI double by Erin O'Brien to give Nyack the 3-1 lead.

The Eagles offense opened up in the bottom of the fifth, erupting for six runs, all with two outs.
