Waterbury, Conn. - Senior
Levy Gillespie (Meriden, Conn.) scored a career-high 19 points in his final game in an Eagles uniform as the Post University men's basketball team closed out its 2018-2019 season with an 85-56 win over Concordia in a Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference game.

Darryl Stewart (Atlanta, Ga.) added 17 points and juniorÂ
Savion Boissard (Walden, N.Y.) scored 11 as the Eagles hit 13 of their 29 three-point attempts. Post finishes the season at 10-18 overall and 7-12 in the CACC which put them fifth in the North Division.
After a tight first half, the Eagles jumped out to a 20-9 run over the first ten minutes to seize total control of the game. Seven different Eagles scored during the run, including junior
Tyshon Rogers (Waterbury, Conn.) and Stewart who each had four points. The Eagles hit two threes during the run.Â
Post never led by less than 13 points the rest of the way as ten different players scored during the game. The Eagles hit six of their threes in the second half including Gillespie and Stewart who both had two. Gillespie finished with five threes in the game.
In a fast paced first half, the two teams swapped leads ten times, with the Eagles closing out on a 16-9 run. Gillespie hit back-to-back threes to kick start the run and the Eagles led by as much as six points at 38-32 before going into the half up 38-34. Gillespie had nine in the first half and Boissard had seven.
Cedrick McFadden led all Concordia scorers with 13 points. The Clippers finish the season at 9-19 overall and 6-13 in the CACC.
Before the game, four seniors were honored during Senior Day. Gillespie, Stewart,
Dondre Rhoden (Ridgefield Park, N.J.), and
Tamas Okros (Bristol, England) were all recognized.
