WATERBURY, Conn. - CACC Commissioner Dan Mara and Director of Athletics Ronnie Palmer were in attendance last night to help honor two of Post University's finest student-athletes, who were receiving awards for their tremendous achievements over the past year.
Kendall Fitzgerald
Women's track and field and cross country star, as well as women's ice hockey captain Kendall Fitzgerald was accompanied by Mara, Palmer and her track and field/cross country coach Gregory Schmidt
Kendall was honored with a numerous plaques for her outstanding performance not only on the field of play, but in the classroom.

2017-2018 Google Cloud Academic All-American Team for Women's Track & Field and Cross Country
2018 Women's Track and Field Track Athlete of the Year
2017-2018 DII CCA Female Scholar Athlete of the Year
Kendall boasts a 3.98 GPA as a biology student while remaining at the top of her game as a three-sport athlete.
Sergio Diaz
Diaz was accompanied by Director of Athletics Ronnie Palmer and men's soccer Head Coach Ted Haley as he was honored for being named to the DII CCA All-American First Team
Sergio helped lead the Eagles to a 2018 NCAA Tournament appearance, as well as the 2018 CACC Tournament Championship with a 2-0 win over Wilmington here on campus at LaMoy Field.
In 2018, Sergio was honored as a First Team All-American as well as CACC Men's Soccer Player of the Year, First Team All-CACC, CACC Tournament MVP and First Team All-Tournament for the CACC tournament.
Sergio put up impressive numbers all season for the Eagles He ranked in the top five in all of DII Men's Soccer in assists with 19, led the Eagles in goals with 12 and led the CACC in total points with 44.
