SOUTH BURLINGTON, Vt. - Post and Saint Michael's matched up for the third time in the last five games in the first round of the NEWHA playoffs. 

The Purple Knights scored three goals in the first two periods of the game to take a 3-0 lead into the final period. 

Post got on the board first in the third period when Paige Dundas scored a goal with an assist from Gwendolyn Lansky. 

Saint Michael's answered with two more goals to push the lead to 5-1, which is how the game would end. 

Kaitlyn Daly got the start in goal for Post and stopped 44 shots. 

Nicole Talcott stopped 31 of the Eagles' 32 shots on goal.
