Box Score SHELTON, Conn. - It was an eventful night at the Sports Center of Connecticut in the men's ice hockey final game of the regular season. The night began by honoring those who have and still do serve our nation in the military. The night ended with a third period game-winning goal by Evan Lugo.

Next, Tyler Hackett did what he's done often this year for the Eagles, come up with an important goal. This time he tied the game at 1-1 in the second period, assisted by Anthony Giacomin and Lucas Smith
The Greyhounds answered with a go-ahead goal late in the second period off of the stick of Michael Zamptanti, who also scored Friday night's only goal.
The Eagles did not take long to answer. Lucas Smith knotted the game at 2-2 less than two minutes later to send the game into the third period tied up.
Brandon Brown owned the game's final period. The sophomore goalie racked up 21 saves to help keep the game within reach.
Evan Lugo put the Eagles up for good when he collected a rebound and punched home a game-winning goal.
In total, Brown collected 55 saves, his third highest total of the season. Brown accumulated 107 total saves in the two game series against the Greyhounds this weekend.
Tonight's victory gives the Eagles ten wins on the season, marking the first time they have reached a double digit win total in program history.
