For the fourth time in program history the Post University men's soccer team will play in the NCAA Division II Tournament as they will take on the Millersville Marauders in the First Round in Super Region 1. Super Region 1 combines the East and Atlantic regions.

A Season To Remember
·       The Post University men's soccer team (14-3-3, 8-2-2 CACC) took home third (2008, 2018, 2019) Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) title and second straight title after defeating Georgian Court, 1-0 on November 17.
·       This will be the fourth time the Eagles have made the NCAA Tournament, having done so in 2012, 2013 and 2018 previously. Post will be seeking its first NCAA Tournament victory.
·       Junior Sergio Diaz, again starred for the Eagles. The 2018 CACC Player of the Year led the conference and Division II in assists with 17, while scoring 16 goals. His 49 points were second in the NCAA and the CACC. He was named to the All-CACC First Team, and the All-East Region First Team. He scored a hat trick and had an assist in a 4-1 win over Concordia on October 8.
·       Including Diaz, four Eagles made All-CACC teams. Junior forward Alvaro Sanchez and defender Andrea Baleotto made the first team, while sophomore goalkeeper David Mollenthiel made the second team. Sanchez was fifth in the CACC in goals, and also made the All-East Region Second Team. Mollenthiel was first in the CACC with a .775 save percentage and Goals Against Average at 1.01 and gave up the least amount of goals with 18.
·       Post was second in goals in the CACC with 44, and only gave up 20 goals, the least amount in the CACC.
·       This will be the first meeting between the two teams.

A Marauders is one who roams from place to place making attacks and raids in search of plunder.
No, I mean about the team…
·       The Marauders (13-5-2) are coming off of their second straight Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) title after they defeated Gannon, the No. 2 seed in Super Region 1, 1-0 in the conference championship game on November 17. In 2018, Millersville took down West Chester, 4-2 in PKs to claim the PSAC title.
·       Millersville was also the PSAC East Division regular season champion, finishing 9-1-2 in the conference.
·       The Marauders are led by Jake Gosselin, who was second in the PSAC with 12 goals and fourth in the PSAC with 30 points. Gosselin was named PSAC Athlete of the Year in the Eastern Division while also making the PSAC Eastern Division First-Team. He was also named to the All-Atlantic Region First Team.
·       Goalkeeper Darian McCauley and defender Nathan Maynard also made the PSAC Eastern Division First-Team, while Bobby Wells and Ethan Woods made the second-team. McCauley was fourth in goals against average in the PSAC at 1.005.
·       Head coach Steve Widdowson was named PSAC Eastern Division Coach of the Year.
·       In 2011, Millersville made the semifinals of the NCAA Tournament, losing to eventual champion, Fort Lewis.
