Jake Butler hauled in a touchdown catch, but the Post University sprint football team lost 58-7 to Army in a Collegiate Sprint Football League (CSFL) game on Friday evening.
Butler's touchdown came on a 30 yard pass from
Nick D'Elia at the 14:02 mark in the third.
Butler finished with two catches for 33 yards, D'Elia passed for 54 yards.
Army scored 21 points in each of the first two quarters to take a 42-0 lead.
Hansley Dalembert led the Eagles with nine tackles.
Daniel Benjamin had tow sacks for the Eagles to go along with his eight tackles.
Jaylen Rivera, Ace Francette and
Tyler Mitza also had eight tackles.
Ryan Sullivan was 10-for-20 with 114 yards passing and a touchdown. Ben West led Army with 65 yards and a touchdown.
Up next, the Eagles will take on St. Thomas Aquinas on October 19 at noon at LaMoy Field.
