Philadelphia, Pa.– The Post University women's tennis team dropped a tough 4-3 match to Jefferson in a Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) tilt.
The Eagles were able to win the doubles No. 2 match as junior Macha Mourier and freshman Alexandra Dereban won, 7-5. However, the Eagles lost the doubles point.
In singles, senior Andrea Sandoval won No. 1 singles, 6-3, 6-2 over Marta Yevstakhevych. Classmate Areej Fareh topped Chang Wei, in straight sets, 6-4, 6-4 and Mourier won a thrilling three-set match, 5-7, 7-5, 10-5 in No. 4 singles over Millie Coombes.
Post will stay in Philadelphia and take on Holy Family on Sunday at 11 a.m.
