Wentzville, Mo. - The goalkeeping tandem of junior
Jenna Baumgartner (Roseau, Minn.) and freshman
Kaitlyn Daly (Coquitlam, British Columbia) combined for 62 saves, but the Post University women's hockey team lost to Lindenwood, 12-0 on Saturday evening.
With the loss, the Eagles drop to 4-12 on the season.
Baumgartner had 21 saves in the first period to go along with 13 in the second and Daly had nine saves in the second and 19 in the third.
Lindenwood (4-13-2) scored three goals in the first, six in the second and three more in the third. Jada Burke led the team with three goals and Jordyn Pimm had two.
Junior
Molly Brumfield (Columbus, Ohio) and sophomore
Savanna Stevenson (Winnipeg, Manitoba) had the two shots on goal for the Eagles.
The two teams will meet again on Sunday at 2 p.m.
