It was a long Saturday afternoon for the men's soccer team.
Goldey Beacom jumped ahead early in the first half when Nicholas Jaramillo put home a free kick, which resulted from a Post handball near the box. This would be the first of three goals for GBC.
David Mollenthial saw his first action between the posts from the eagles. In total, Mollenthial saw six total shot and saved three of them.
Post was never able to get it going against an extremely aggressive Goldey Beacom side. Sergio Diaz, (Madrid, Spain) who leads the team in points, was able to get up only one shot. As a team, Post had 20 shots but only two on goal.
Men's soccer (3-5) will look to bounce back this week when they go on the road to take on Felician Saturday, Sept. 26 at 8 p.m.
