Villanova, Pa. – Senior Cheyenne Grim (Gettysburg, Pa.) had ten saves, and kept Holy Family out of the back of the net in the first half, but the Post University women's soccer team ultimately lost to the Tigers, 3-0 in a Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference game on Saturday afternoon.
Grim stopped six of her shots in the first half as the teams went into the half at 0-0.
Despite being scoreless, the Eagles (0-5-1, 0-2-0 CACC) made Holy Family's Brianna Pudlo work between the goal post as all six shots on goal by Post were stopped. Sophomore Sabrina Adamo (Hicksville, N.Y.) led the Eagles with three shots on goal. Freshman Gorgi Van Lienen (Palmerston North, New Zealand) had two shots on goal.
Holy Family (5-1-0, 3-1-0 CACC) got on the board in the 55th minute as Hannah Derby scored on a breakaway. Alyssa Christiansen made it a 2-0 game in the 67th minute with a goal and Grace Stackhouse put one through in the 80th minute for the final score of the game.
