Waterbury, Conn - The Eagles and Sergio Diaz opened up conference play with bang in todays 4-1 win over Caldwell University
Sergio Diaz was involved in all four goals including the opening score of the match when he clanked a shot off the right post and into the back of the net.
Later in the first half Tim Nepomuck connected for his first career goal in a Post University uniform on a pass from Sergio Diaz. This score put the Eagles up 2-0 heading into the halftime break.
Sergio Diaz started the second half much like the first, with a goal. This time he found the back of the net on an assist from his teammate Sergio Sanchez. With his two goals today, Diaz now has a team leading four on the season.
Caldwell followed with a goal to make the score 3-1. However, the Eagles quickly answered with a strike of their own. This time Samuel Urban connected on a goal assisted by Sergio Diaz.
The Eagles out-shot Caldwell 13-8 and played tough defense throughout the match
