PHILADELPHIA, Pa. – The Post University men's tennis team improved to 3-5 overall with a 5-4 victory over Jefferson on Saturday night in its first Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) match of the season.
 
The Eagles found themselves down 2-1 after doubles. Seniors Nikola Crvelin (Kaštel Lukšic, Croatia) and Ludvig Henrikson (Taby, Sweden) earned the only point with an 8-4 win over Jacobo Atri and Joseph Sison at No. 1.
 
Crevlin also picked up a win at No. 1 singles 6-3, 7-5 against Liviu Trifoi. Junior Ivan Rajevac (Dubrovnik, Croatia) defeated Atri 7-5, 6-4 at No. 2. At No. 5 singles junior Pete Rossel earned a 6-0, 7-5 win over Sison. Sophomore Joe Alvord (Southbury, Conn.) defeated Cesar Solis 7-5, 6-0.
 
Post opens its home schedule on Tuesday against St. Thomas Aquinas at 3 p.m.
