Patrick McCarthy (Ware, Mass.) scored his first-career goal in the loss.
Assumption got out ahead of the Eagles 2-0 to begin the game. Sophomore
Tyler Hackett (Branford, Conn.) cut the deficit to 2-1 after the first period with his team-leading 12
th goal of the season. Sophomore
Matt Moreschi (Malden, Mass.) and freshman
Jake Raleigh (Raleigh, N.C.) assisted on the goal.
Junior
Brian Hurley (Long Beach, N.Y.) found McCarthy for a power-play goal early in the second period to tie the game 2-2.
The Greyhounds scored four times in the final period to put the game away. Freshman
Brandon Brown (Hanahan, S.C.) made 44 saves on the night.
