Springfield, Mass. - Jon Plefka and his squad took their three game winning streak up to Springfield, MA to take on American International College. The Eagles were able to win their last two non-conference games (Pace and District of Columbia) but came up short against AIC, 66-35.
Post trailed 36-15 at the half but came out strong in the third quarter with their highest point total by quarter (15). The shots never started consistently falling for the Eagles, as they shot 12-61 (20%) from the field, including 2-11 (19%) from deep.
Sha'Raya Haines lead the Eagles in scoring with nine points, including five rebounds and one assist.
Mia Crooms added eight points on 2-6 shooting from the field and 4-4 shooting from the free throw line.
Post will look to bounce back on Tuesday when they travel to Dominican College for a CACC showdown at 5:30 p.m.
