Freshman Kaitlyn Daly (Coquitlam, British Columbia) had 26 saves in her first career win and shutout and three different Eagles (3-10) scored in the 3-0 win.


Things To Know

• Sophomore Paige Dundas (La Broquerie, Manitoba) scored late in the first period - her second goal of the season -  to give the Eagles a 1-0 lead, one they would never relinquish. Post 
• Junior Kendall Fitzgerald (Kamloops, British Columbia) scored her team-leading fourth goal of the season at the 4:41 mark in the second. Fitzgerald, along with sophomore Kayleigh Miller (Braselton, Ga.) each had eight shots to lead the Eagles, who took 40 as a team.
• Junior Kalena Mueller (San Ramon, Calif.) added an insurance goal at the 17:41 mark in the second to go with her assist on the goal from Dundas in the first period.  It was Mueller's first two points on the season.
• Daly's 26 saves gave Eagles goaltenders 653 saves on the season, tops in Division I. Daly had an NCAA record 89 against Saint Anselm on November 9.
• The Eagles won 29 of their 55 faceoffs, led by junior Molly Brumfield (Columbus, Ohio) who won 14.

What's Next? The two teams will meet again on Saturday as the Eagles host Anna Maria at the Sports Center of Connecticut in Shelton, Conn. Puck drops at 5 p.m.
