Eagles Use Dominating Second Period To Beat Lebanon Valley In Women's Hockey, 3-0

The Post University women's hockey team used three second half goals, each by a different players to give them its second win of the season over Lebanon Valley.  All the Eagles goals came in a 2:14 span.

With the win, the Eagles are now 2-5 on the season. It was Lebanon Valley's first game of the season and it is 0-1 on the year.

Things To Know
  • Junior Molly Brumfield (Columbus, Ohio) scored her team-leading third goal of the season to get the scoring going for the Eagles at the 14:59 mark in the second period.
  • Junior Julia Schatz (East Haven, Conn.) and sophomore Paige Dundas (La Broquerie, Manitoba) each scored their first goal of the season for the Eagles at 16:38 and 17:13 in the second period, respectively.
  • The Eagles won 32 of 51 faceoffs, including 14 from Schatz.
  • Junior Jenna Baumgartner (Roseau, Minn.) stopped all 17 shots she faced on the day.
  • The Eagles outshot Lebanon Valley, 53-17.
