Molly Brumfield (Columbus, Ohio) scored her first two goals of the season, including the game-winner at the 5:14 mark of the third period to give the women's hockey team its first win of the season over St. Michael's.
With the win, the Eagles are now 1-4 on the season and 1-2 in the New England Women's Hockey Alliance. St. Michael's is 0-1.

-  With her two goals, Brumfield surpassed her goal total of last season, and has two on the season. Post was down 1-0 in the second period when Brumfield scored her first goal, a shorthanded one 25 seconds into the period.
- Brumfield's winner came on a pass form junior Kendall Fitzgerald (Kamloops, British Columbia) and Kathleen Takita (Burrillville, R.I.). Fitzgerald scored the only other goal of the season for the Eagles.
- Freshman Kristin Smith (O'Fallon, Ill.) had 36 saves in net for the Eagles.
- The Eagles won the faceoff battle, 34-29, as junior Julia Schatz (East Haven, Conn.) led the way with 16 faceoff wins.
