MANCHESTER, N.H. – The Post University women's ice hockey team was defeated by Saint Anselm 9-0 on Saturday afternoon. Sophomore goaltender
Jenna Baumgartner (Roseau, Minn.) made a season-high 67 saves in the loss.
Throughout the first two periods, Baumgartner had stopped 43 of 47 shot attempts by Hawks, until allowing five goals in the third.
Freshman
Gwendolyn Lansky (Grass Lake, Mich.) and sophomore
Kendall Fitzgerald (Kamloops, British Columbia) each had two shots for the Eagles. Sophomore
Molly Brumfield (Columbus, Ohio) won 10 face-offs.
The Eagles will visit Colby on Tuesday, Jan. 30 in Waterville, Maine. Puck drops at 4 p.m.
