SHELTON, Conn. – The Post University women's ice hockey team fell to Sacred Heart 12-1 to close out the season on Saturday. Freshman goaltender Mikaella Doran (Eden Mills, Vt.) made 67 saves in the loss. Freshman Sierra Alarid (Cheyenne, Wyo.) scored her third goal of the season in the final period.  Freshmen Molly Brumfield (Columbus, Ohio) and Kalena Mueller (San Ramon, Calif.) had assists on the goal.

Freshman Kendall Fitzgerald (Kamloops, British Columbia) had four of the Eagles eight shots, including two in the second period. Classmate Juila Schatz (East Haven, Conn.) blocked a team-best seven shots and won six face offs.
 
Mueller and Fitzgerald each had six blocked shots. Brumfield won 12 face offs.
