SHELTON, Conn. – The Post University women's ice hockey team was defeated at home by Saint Anselm 10-0 on Friday night at the SportsCenter of Connecticut in Shelton.
Freshman goaltender
Danaée St-Germain (Metcalfe, Ontario) made 31 saves in the first period as she allowed just two early goals. She made a season-best 61 stops on the night.
The Eagles had 13 shots on the night led by sophomore
Kendall Fitzgerald (Kamloops, British Columbia) with three. Freshman
Savanna Stevenson (Winnipeg, Manitoba) added two shots. Fitzgerald won a team-best seven face-offs.
Post returns to the ice in Shelton tomorrow afternoon against the Hawks at 3:45 p.m.
