Box Score WATERBURY, Conn. – The Post University sprint football team ended its three-game homestand on Saturday with a 39-0 loss to Navy. The Eagles are now 0-4 on the season heading into a meeting with defending conference champion Penn next Friday night.
Defensively, the Eagles were able to hold the Midshipmen in check in the first quarter. After a three-and-out by Post, Navy completed a 41-yard pass to get down to the Eagles' three yard line. A sack and forced fumble by junior

Post's offense was unable to get anything going in the first quarter, but the Eagles held Navy scoreless. On a fourth-and-goal attempt by the Midshipmen from the Eagles' two-yard line late in the quarter, a muffed handoff led to a 15-yard loss and Post possession, but it was once again forced to punt.
Navy scored on its opening drive of the second quarter as Braydan Chmiel found Sam Shaunak from 24-yards out. Post entered Navy territory for the first time all day on its first possession of the second. Junior
Buddy Enriquez (Sacramento, Calif.) hit freshman
Alex Galarza (Middletown, N.Y.) three times for 24 yards during the drive, but a muffed snap on a punt game the Midshipmen the ball on the Eagles 40-yard line.
Two more Navy touchdowns and a safety by the Eagles made the score 19-0 at halftime. Post held Navy, who is second in rushing offense in the Collegiate Sprint Football League (CSFL), to just 13 yards on the ground in the first half.
A nine-play, 64-yard drive led to another touchdown by Navy to start the second half. Post's offense continued to struggle as it turned the ball over after a sack on its next possession.
The Eagles best chance to score came early in the fourth quarter. Junior Ladarrius Phillips (Tuscaloosa, Ala.) setup the drive with a 21 yard kickoff return. Freshman
David Mosley (Bridgeton, N.J.) completed a short pass to sophomore
Khaliq Little (Brooklyn, N.Y.) who took it 29 yards down to the Navy 40-yard line for the Eagles longest play of the afternoon.
Post continued to run the ball effectively on the drive and two penalties by Navy gave the Eagles a first-and-goal on the visitor's five-yard line. The Eagles looked like they had a touchdown, but a pass to freshman
Golden Borden (New Orleans, La.) was caught just out of the back of the end zone. Post was unable to convert on a fourth-down attempt.
Post was able to hold the Midshipmen to just 83 rushing yards, well below their average of 183.5 per game. Mosley threw for 48 yards, while Enriquez added 42 yards through the air. Galarza caught five passes for 32 yards.
Freshmen
Eric Berrios (Bronx, N.Y.) and
Hansley Dalambert (Burlington, N.J.) led the Eagles with nine tackles each. Dalambert had 6.5 tackles for loss, the most in a single-game in the CSFL this season, including one sack. Post had three sacks as a team. Senior
Trevor Patterson (Wildomar, Calif.) added seven tackles, 3.5 for loss Senior
Eleodoro Perez (Chino, Calif.) led the team with two sacks to go with five total tackles.
Post is back in action on Friday night on the road at Penn. Kickoff at Franklin Field in Philadelphia is set for 7 p.m.
