Philadelphia, Pa. – Senior Tyra Jones (Rochester, N.Y.) led four Eagles in double figures with 22 points, but the Post University women's basketball team lost 108-80 to Chestnut Hill in a Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference game Wednesday afternoon.

The 80 points were the most the Eagles have scored in a game this season.

During a fast paced first quarter, Jones scored eight straight points for the Eagles. However, the Griffins closed the quarter with a 7-1 run to give them a 34-21 lead at the end of the first ten minutes.

After Chestnut Hill extended its lead to 56-31 with 3:36 left in the second quarter, the Eagles finished the quarter on a 9-2 run to cut the deficit to 58-40. Senior Deaisia Acklin (Bronx, N.Y.) scored seven straight points during the run.

The Griffins were able to extend its lead and put the game out of reach heading into the fourth as they led by 33 points heading into the final frame.
