WATERBURY, Conn.- The St. Rose Golden Knights proved to be no match for the Post University Eagles on Tuesday night as senior Skylar German (Kansas City, Mo) led her team to a three set victory over this St. Rose club. German led the way with 11 kills and eight digs and sophomore Brianna Root (Bristol, Conn.) had 29 assists.

Post jumped out to an early first set lead and did not look back as it took set number one 25-18. In the second set it was the same story, however in the middle of the set Sam Kubik caught fire with her serve and single-handedly brought her team back into the match.

As St. Rose cut the lead down to 17-14, Post was able to regain the control of the set after senior Hailey Griffin (Plainfield, Conn.) riffled a kill toward the Golden Knights' libero.

The third set remained close but the Eagles discovered the winning formula 25-21.

Posts next action will be at on the road against Queens College in West Haven, Conn. on Thursday. Match will begin at 4 p.m.
