Abriana Diana (Hartford, Conn.) scored a career-high 13 points, but the Post University women's basketball team lost 86-43 to Assumption in an out-of-conference game on Monday afternoon in Waterbury, Conn.
The two teams kept it close early on as Post took leads of 2-0 and 6-4 in the early part of the first quarter before Assumption pulled away with a 14-4 run to end the quarter.
Assumption pulled away in the second quarter going up 38-19 at the half and increased its lead throughout the second half.

Gabriela Middleton (Coral Springs, Fla.) finished with nine points and freshman
Migle Mitruleviciute (Kaunas, Lithuania) grabbed a season-high eight rebounds off of the bench.
Jo Impellizeri led all scorers in scoring with 17 for Assumption.
After an 11 day break, the Eagles will be back in action on December 30 as they take on New Haven at 1 p.m. in an out-of-conference road game.
