The game looked to get away from the Eagles early as the Greyhounds built a 4-0 lead over after a goal early in the third period. After a save by sophomore
Joseph Grout (Plainfield, N.H.) early in the period, Post won the ensuing faceoff and freshman
Lucas Smith (Calgary, Alberta) quickly scored a shorthanded goal to cut the deficit to 4-1.
With 12:40 remaining, Canfarotta added his first score of the year off assists by freshman
Nick Mancini (Coral Springs, Fla.) and senior
Trevor Buchas (Bristol, Conn.) as the Eagles pulled closer at 4-2. Assumption ended any chance for a comeback with goal just over a minute later.

Daniel Moore (Stony Point, N.Y.) added a late power play goal for the Eagles. Grout finished the night with 65 saves.
Post returns home on Saturday, Nov. 5 against Central Connecticut (ACHA). Puck drops in Shelton, Conn. at 6:30 p.m.
