Tyra Jones (Rochester, N.Y.) scored eight points and grabbed three rebounds, but the Post University women's basketball team lost 89-32 to University of Alaska-Anchorage Friday night.
The Eagles are now 0-4 on the season.
After falling behind 2-0 early in the first quarter, the Eagles tied it up on a bucket by senior
Nicole Sheloski (Hudson Falls, N.Y.). The Seawolves then went on a 24-6 run to end the quarter. They led 40-12 at the half.
Freshman
Taylor Ceballos (Milford, Conn.) finished with five points and four rebounds and classmate
Ann Marie Nelson (Draper, Utah) also chipped in with five points.
Post outrebounded the UAA, 27-25, including eight on the offensive end.
Autummn Williams led the Seawolves in scoring on the night with 14 points. She also had six assists.
Up next for the Eagles is their Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference opener as they take on Bloomfield on the road on November 22 at 5:30 p.m.
