Shontera Williams (Marksville, La.) led the Post University women's basketball team with eight points, but the Eagles dropped a 75-40 game to Stonehill on Friday night at the Drubner Center in their first game of the season.

Deaisia Acklin (Bronx, N.Y.) to give the Eagles the 5-4 lead.
Both teams would battle back and forth before Stonehill took a 20-11 lead after the first quarter.
After getting outscored 15-0 in the first 6:58 of the second quarter, the Eagles closed on an impressive 8-0 run as Williams scored four points during the stretch to make it a 35-21 at the half for Stonehill.
The Skyhawks would close out the game in the second half for their first win of the season.
Senior
Tyra Jones (Rochester, N.Y.) finished with seven points, and Nelson and Levin each had six. Jones led the team with sex rebounds.
Samantha Hyslip led the way for Stonehill with 19 points on 8 of 10 shooting. Courtney Walsh scored 14, including four three-pointers and Elizabeth Grip scored 13.
