Dave Canfarotta (Stratford, Conn.) scored three goals and assisted on four more as the Post University men's hockey team defeated the Quinnipiac Braves Hockey Club 10-2 on a snowy Saturday at the Rinks at Shelton. The Eagles earn their second win of the season.
Post scored early and often with six goals in the first period on their way to the victory. Freshman

Trevor Buchas (Bristol, Conn.) to put Post in front 2-0. Quinnipiac answered back to tie with two scores of their own.
The Eagles blasted out four straight goals to end the period and never looked back. Canfarotta scored twice, including on a power-play, and had an assist. Sophomore
Christopher Harris (Barnstable, Mass.) and freshman
Peter Petrino (Derby, Conn.) each beat the keeper in the period.
Post scored twice in each of the final two periods. Canfarotta completed the hat trick with a third period goal. Freshman
Dom Senerchia (Walpole, Mass.) add his first goal of the season late.

Joseph Grout (Plainfield, N.H.) made 33 saves on the day. Post pounded out 64 shots.
The Eagles hit the ice again on Friday, Feb. 5 at home against the Trinity Club team. Face-off in Shelton is set for 8 p.m.
