WATERBURY, Conn. – The Post University men's basketball team looks to snap its two-game losing streak on Wednesday night as it hosts Nyack in a Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) clash. The Eagles are 6-4 at the Drubner Center this year and have won three of their last four at home. Nyack hasn't won on the road since Jan. 10.

Jah'sheme Ringgold (Easton, Md.) converted a three-point play to bring Post within one point, but his late jumper fell short as the Post University men's basketball team was defeated by Goldey-Beacom 56-55 on Saturday afternoon. Ringgold finished with nine points off the bench for the Eagles.
Post trailed by as many as 12 points in the second half and was down 49-37 with just under nine minutes to play. Senior
Nardie Bogues (Baltimore, Md.) hit a three with 8:46 left to spark a 12-3 run by the Eagles to bring them back into the game. Ringgold scored five points during the run and freshman
Matt Mareno (San Francisco, Calif.) hit two free-throws to cut the deficit to 52-49 with 4:30 left. Mareno led Post with 14 points and 11 boards on the day.
Goldey-Beacom would extend its advantage back to seven points before Post's late comeback.
Scouting the WarriorsNyack is 5-15 overall and 4-9 in CACC play this season, but has lost its last four times out. The Warriors last victory came over Post 74-64 on Jan. 17. Nick Moore leads Nyack at 14.4 points and 6.6 rebounds per game. The Warriors average just 66.2 points per contest, but are second in the CACC at 7.8 steals per game. Khalid Samuels led all scorers with 20 points last time against Post and the Warriors shot a season-high 56.2 percent from the field, but also committed 24 turnovers.

th in the nation in opponents' three-point percentage. The Eagles allow their opponents to shoot at just a 31.0 percent clip. Post has held its rivals to under 25.0 percent shooting in seven games this year. Their season-best performance came in the opener against Roberts Wesleyan as the Redhawks were just 7.7 percent (1-13) from distance.

Preseason PollPost was picked to finish fifth in the CACC North Division this year. The Eagles received 41 votes. Bloomfield and Philadelphia were selected to finish first in the North and South Divisions, respectively.
