WATERBURY, Conn. – The Post University men's basketball team closes out its regular season on Saturday afternoon as Georgian Court makes their first ever visit to the Drubner Center. The Eagles have already clinched a spot in the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Tournament and are currently the third seed. Post can earn the second seed and home playoff game with a win and two losses by Bloomfield.

Over the first 10 minutes of the game the lead changed hands four times and the score was tied five times. Bloomfield pulled in front by five early one, but five points by Voiles during a 7-0 run put the Eagles back in front. Neither team would lead by more than two after that until the Bears took control with 13 straight points going ahead 31-18 with 6:37 left in the first half.

Voiles hit two early baskets for Post in the second half to cut the Bloomfield lead to 41-34. With 15:04 left Howze made a three to cut the lead to six. The Eagles grabbed four of their game-high 21 offensive boards during the possession.

Howze drew a foul with 2:35 left the Bears leading 69-59. He made both free throws and then stole the ball, leading to a three-pointer by Bogues that cut the deficit to five points.

Scouting the LionsIn just their second year as a program Georgian Court sits at 5-19 overall and 2-15 in CACC play. The Lions last victory came on the road at Felician 85-73, but they have dropped three straight since. Three players average double figures in scoring led by Jordan Wejnert at 13.2 points per game. Keith Hughes adds 12.4 points and 7.0 rebounds per contest. Georgian Court scored 67.2 points and allows 77.0 per game. The Lions get to the line more than any team in the conference with 24.5 attempts per game.

th straight CACC Tournament appearance and are currently sitting in third place in the North Division. With a victory on Saturday and losses by Bloomfield in its final two games, Post would earn the second seed and its first home playoff game since 2011.

th in the nation in opponents' three-point percentage. The Eagles allow their opponents to shoot at just a 31.8 percent clip. Post has held its rivals to under 25.0 percent shooting in eight games this year. Their season-best performance came in the opener against Roberts Wesleyan as the Redhawks were just 7.7 percent (1-13) from distance.

Starting From ScratchThe Eagles return just one player from a year ago in sophomore
Rokas Lapsys (Vilnius, Lithuania). Lapsys who appeared in just three games, averaging 9.3 minutes per outing. This year's roster features 13 players including six freshman, two sophomores, four juniors, and one senior. The players come from all over the globe with two from England in freshmen
Kyle Squire (Cheshire, England) and

Preseason PollPost was picked to finish fifth in the CACC North Division this year. The Eagles received 41 votes. Bloomfield and Philadelphia were selected to finish first in the North and South Divisions, respectively.
