WATERBURY, Conn. – The Post University men's basketball team visits Goldey-Beacom on Saturday afternoon in a Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) cross-division clash. The Eagles have won the last two against the Lightning. Goldey-Beacom has lost three straight games.

The Chargers would once against extend their lead to double-digits with 2:52 but Post wouldn't go quietly. Desrosiers hit from distance on back-to-back possessions cutting the deficit to four. After a turnover by Dominican, Desrosiers was fouled shooting a three and made two free throws to make the score 81-79 with 1:43 left. Dominican went 8-for-10 from the line down the stretch to close out the game.

Nardie Bogues (Baltimore, Md.) hit a deep three as time expired to close the cap to 47-41 at the break.
Scouting the LightningGoldey-Beacom enters Saturday with an overall record of 6-12 and is 3-8 in CACC play. The Lightning have lost their last three times out, most recently an 85-66 loss at home against Philadelphia. Chris Gebhart leads the team at 13.9 points and 8.4 rebounds per game, the latter of which is good for fourth in the conference. Goldey-Beacom averages 68.1 points per game and allows 75.2 per contest.

Post has held its rivals to under 25.0 percent shooting in six games this year. Their season-best performance came in the opener against Roberts Wesleyan as the Redhawks were just 7.7 percent (1-13) from distance.

Rokas Lapsys (Vilnius, Lithuania). Lapsys who appeared in just three games, averaging 9.3 minutes per outing. This year's roster features 13 players including six freshman, two sophomores, four juniors, and one senior. The players come from all over the globe with two from England in freshmen

Preseason PollPost was picked to finish fifth in the CACC North Division this year. The Eagles received 41 votes. Bloomfield and Philadelphia were selected to finish first in the North and South Divisions, respectively.
