WATERBURY, Conn. – The Post University men's basketball hopes to rebound from its loss over the weekend as it visits Felician on Wednesday night. The Eagles defeated the Golden Falcons 83-69 at home earlier this year. Post is the top three-point shooting team in the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) at 37.8 percent, while Felician boast the top three-point defense, allowing opponents' to shoot at a 28.8 clip from deep.

Brandt Voiles (Byron, Ill.) hit a three-pointer on the Eagles first possession of the game, but Post went cold from there. Nyack exploded out to an 18-3 lead behind Khalid Samuels and Nick Moore who combined for 17 points early.

Post began to chip away at the lead by forcing turnovers and went on a 12-2 run and a three by freshmanÂ
Travis Flagg (Queens, N.Y.) cut the deficit to single-digits at 27-19 with 3:42 remaining in the first. The Eagles trailed 32-21 at halftime.

Nardie Bogues (Baltimore, Md.) scored all of his points in the second half and he finished with 12 on the day. Bogues got the Post scoring started in the second half with a three, cutting the lead to eight points, but the Eagles would never get closer.

Scouting the Golden FalconsFelician has struggled to a 2-13 record this season, but won its last time out 68-55 to Nyack. Jeyvi Miavivululu is in the top-10 in the CACC at 14.9 points and 8.0 rebounds per contest. The Golden Falcons are the top rebounding team in the conference at 43.3 per game and grabbed a season-high 57 against Concordia. Felician is also seventh in the nation in opponents' three-point percentage holding their challengers to just 28.8 percent shooting from behind the arc.

Matt Mareno (San Francisco, Calif.) has been named CACC Rookie of the Week on four times this season and ECAC Rookie of the Week three times. Mareno leads the team at 13.1 points, 8.4 rebounds, and 1.5 blocks per game. He has also posted four double-doubles this year.

Rokas Lapsys (Vilnius, Lithuania). Lapsys who appeared in just three games, averaging 9.3 minutes per outing. This year's roster features 13 players including six freshman, two sophomores, four juniors, and one senior. The players come from all over the globe with two from England in freshmen
