Tatum recorded Post's first double-double of the season. Senior Stephen Perry Jr. (Westhampton, N.J.) was 5-for-6 from distance for a game-high 22 points to go with three steals and an assists. Senior Derrick Strong (St. Louis, Mo.) had seven points, four rebounds, four assists, and three steals.

Perry Jr. hit two early three-pointers and as part of a 10-0 Eagles' run to begin the game which forced a timeout by Goldey-Beacom. Out of the break, the Lightning scored quickly before Post dropped 14 straight points, seven by Tatum, to build a 24-2 lead with 13:22 remaining in the first.

Goldey-Beacom answered with a 10-0 run to get back in the game, but never pulled within single digits the rest of the day.
