Game Notes: Men’s Basketball Looks To Continue Winning Ways

Post University (2-6, 2-1) vs. Le Moyne College (3-5, 2-5 Northeast-10)

Post University men's basketball is traveling up to Syracuse on Saturday afternoon to take on Northeast-10 foe Le Moyne College. The Eagles will be looking to continue their strong play as of late, winning two out of the last three, against the 3-5 Dolphins.

Scouting The Dophins         
Le Moyne as dropped their last three contests, most recently a week ago at Adelphi, 76-61. They have played their completion tough this season, with most of the losses coming by single-digits. The Dolphins are young, with only two seniors on the squad. Their leading scorer and rebounder is 6-10 center Jim Janson with 12.5 ppg and 7.4 rpg. Le Moyne is near the bottom of the Northeast-10 in most categories, but are second in the conference in field goal percentage at 45.1%.
 
Series History
Le Moyne came out to Drubner last season and took a 26-25 lead into halftime. The Eagles stormed out of the locker room in the second on an 11-0 run and never looked back, rolling to a 69-57 victory. Spencer Smith the Post with 15 points, four assists, and five rebounds.

Lopez Leads The Way
Senior guard Josh Lopez has been playing great over the past few games which has helped the Eagles get some wins. After struggling to find his shot early on Lopez has been the Eagles leading scorer in three of the last four games, and five overall this season. He has top 20 points in the Eagles two victory with 22 against Felician and 24 at USciences. Lopez has also help out in other ways, he is second on the team with 4.1 rpg and has dished out 22 assists. His 19 steals have helped push the Eagles to third in the CACC in that category.
