Post University's all-time leader in points, goals, assists, ground balls and caused turnovers, Mallorie Michalak was named assistant coach of the women's lacrosse program on May 24, 2012. She will make the move to the sidelines for the 2013 campaign.

Michalak will assist with all aspects of the program.

A Second Team All-CACC selection following her senior season, Michalak led the conference in ground balls (53) and caused turnovers (33), Michalak was ranked sixth nationally in caused turnovers per game and 11th in the country in ground balls per contest. She posted 2.2 caused turnovers per game and averaged 3.53 ground balls per outing.
 
A three-year letterwinner with Post, she ranked second on the team in goals and points in her final two seasons with the squad. She also led the team in ground balls during the 2011 and 2012 seasons. Michalak has been with the Post University women’s lacrosse team since its inception in 2010.
