AJ McNamara

AJ McNamara enters his fifth year as an athletic administrator as he has transitioned into the role of Associate Director of Athletics for Compliance and Operations. Prior to his administrative role, he spent eight seasons as head coach of the Post University baseball program and finished his coaching career as the University's all-time winningest coach with a record of 167-174-2.

In his current role, McNamara will assist with compliance, contest management, internal and external operations, and other duties within the largest athletic department in the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC).

As Head Baseball Coach, 22 student-athletes earned All-Conference recognition, and numerous players were selected to the All-Academic Team. In 2010, he helped lead the team to the CACC championship game - its only appearance to date and followed that up with a 3rd place finish in 2011 and a 4th place finish in 2014. From 2008-2011, his Eagles squads amassed 99 victories which included four straight seasons of at least 24 wins. 

McNamara holds a Bachelor's Degree in Communications and Marketing from Virginia Wesleyan University, and a Master's Degree in Organizational Leadership from Mercy College. 

McNamara resides in Cheshire, Conn. with his wife Jenna, their daughter Nora Mae, their two sons Hunter James and Billy Brooks as well as their two dogs, Jackson and Monster.Â
