Coach Adam Schultz was named Post University football coach for its inaugural season in Fall 2021. Schultz was previously named the Sprint Football coach in 2020, but the COVID-19 pandemic forced the cancellation of the season.

Under the leadership of Schultz, the program saw 10 players named to the CSC Academic All-District Team since 2023, while 49 players made the NE10 Honor Roll in 2024, the team's first year in the conference. That inaugural season saw Schultz coach Josh Tracey to First and Second Team Offensive honors for the NE10, along with Second Team Defense accolades for Michael Gabettie and All-Rookie honors from Myles Snead and Adonis White. Tracey was also named a Don Hansen Division II All-American Honorable Mention and as a New England Football Writers Association Gold Helmet Award winner (Week 3).

After winning their first game in program history during the 2023 season on the road against Franklin Pierce University, 16-13, the Eagles got their first home win in 2024 against West Virginia Wesleyan University, 41-24, which coincided with their first year in the Northeast-10 Conference.

Schultz, previously an offensive coordinator with the program started his college coaching career with the University of New Haven.

At New Haven, Schultz was the wide receivers, tight end and running backs coach during his six years. He coached three All-Americans as well as various All-NE10 players.

Schultz knows success on the field starts with a good culture and success off the field and in the classroom.

"Being here was a great opportunity where we knew a lot of the kids," Schultz said. "The kids that are coming back are good and high character kids that will do the right things on and off the field. Doing the right things off the field will lead to success on the field."

Asked what will bring on the field, Schultz said he will focus on all three phases of the game.

We will be an extremely tough competitive team on the field and try to bring a fast uptempo brand of football," Schultz said. "We will be tough and physical on defensive side of the football. Special teams will be heavily put forward and a ton of attention paid to it."

Schultz began his coaching career at Woodland Regional High School where he was the defensive coordinator and the special teams coordinator, as well as a track and field coach and strength and conditioning coordinator for the school

"It's been a dream of mine my whole life. Incredibly excited to be here at Post and lead the ship here and make my mark on Post University football," Schultz said.
