Post University Athletics

Kelsey Lengyel-Jacovich

Kelsey Lengyel-Jacovich reunited with the Post University Athletic department as Mental Health and Performance Skills Coach in April 2026.

In this role, Lengyel-Jacovich will coach student-athletes in strengthening mental skills and performance strategies to excel in athletics, academics, and additional aspects of the game of life. “Coach Kel J” (for short!) graduated from Post as a three-sport athlete in 2011 and went on to graduate school at Springfield College where she received a master’s degree in sport psychology and served as assistant coach to the women’s basketball and softball programs.

After a kick-off career in athletic event and facilities management, Lengyel-Jacovich launched her career in sport psychology coaching in 2020. The addition of certifications in holistic life coaching adds a component to mental sport performance training that facilitates transferability of skills from sport to life outside of the game as well. Through athletic coaching, teaching as an adjunct professor, and her mental and holistic life skills coaching, Lengyel-Jacovich has worked with hundreds of student-athletes and coaches across the high school, preparatory, and collegiate landscape.

Activities and workshops around confidence, performance pressure, team building, leadership, visualization, goal planning, focus, athlete identity, emotional self-regulation and injury and recovery headline her repertoire of personal development expertise. Each set of tools will be customized to best equip individual student-athletes and athletic programs to help maximize performance potential. Her favorite tag line, “Let’s go together, let’s grow together!”
