Ron Samon returns to the Post University sprint football staff for his third season as the linebackers coach. Salmon brings over fifteen years of coaching experience at various levels to the Eagles’ sideline.
Salmon spent his first thirteen years coaching at the youth level at various positions winning six conference titles, three state titles, and two northeast region titles. His last several years were spent at the College Prep level where he contributed to one National Championship and two conference titles with the Southwest Connecticut Grizzlies.
Salmon earned all-conference honors at Middletown High School in Middletown, CT as a defensive back. He also played two years at the University of New Haven as a defensive back and wide receiver.
