Bridget Muniz enters her eighth season as Head Athletic Trainer at Post overseeing all aspect of the Sports Medicine Program and Post.
Prior to Post, Muniz was the Head Athletic Trainer at Kentucky Wesleyan College, a Division II College in Owensboro for 13 years from 2003 - 2015. At KWC, she was the Head Athletic Trainer for Football, Volleyball, Men's Basketball and Softball. For 34 years, Muniz has worked for Varsity Spirit Corporation as a Certified Athletic Trainer and Camp Event Administrator. She has also worked for 10 years as a Site Director and athletic trainer for Triple Crown Sports. She has also worked at the high school level in the Denver Metro Area.
She recently graduated with her Doctorate in Athletic Training from A.T. Still University in 2022. A graduate of Fort Lewis College in Durango, Colorado with a Bachelor of Science degree, Muniz majored in Exercise Science with an emphasis in Athletic Training and Coaching. She earned her Master of Science degree in Sport Psychology from the University of Northern Colorado in Greeley, Colorado.
Muniz is a BOC Athletic Trainer, Red Cross CPR/AED and Professional Rescuer Certified, a member of the National Athletic Trainers Association (NATA), and Connecticut Athletic Trainers Association. Muniz is licensed in Connecticut. She is an American Red Cross Instructor, dry needing certified, FMS certified, and ImPact Trained.
Born and raised in Colorado, Muniz enjoys watching the Colorado Rockies and Denver Broncos, traveling, mountains, Christian music, history, and Geneaology.
