Post University Athletics

Tom Abbott is in his eithth season as the assistant coach of the men’s and women’s tennis programs at Post University. He assists head coach Rob Howard with all aspects of both programs. In 2016, Abbott was named Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) East Region Women's Tennis Assistant Coach of the Year for helping the Eagles to a 13-7 record, best in program history.
 
Abbott has been involved in competitive tennis for over 40 years and is a former club pro and tennis director. He still competes in tournaments and events in the region.
 
As an undergraduate, Abbott was a letterwinner with the soccer program at Boston College.
 
In addition to his role with the tennis program, Abbott is the Academic Program Manager for the undergraduate business program at Post.
