Rob Howard, the 2016 Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Women's Tennis Coach of the Year, begins his 17th season as the head men’s and women’s tennis coach at Post University in 2025-26.

Since 2016, the Women's team under Howard has reached the CACC Tournament in all but one season while manufacturing seven CACC All-Conference recipients, including Annunciata De-Souza in three consecutive years on the First Team from 2021-2023. In the classroom, Howard's team won the CACC Team GPA Award in back-to-back years from 2022-2024 while having 19 CACC All-Academic Team and four CSC Academic All-District recipients.

Howard guided the Eagles women's team to unprecedented heights in 2016 as they finished with a 13-7 record and earned their first-ever CACC Tournament bid. Post was regionally-ranked throughout the year. On the men's side, he coached Nikola Crevlin to a 6-0 record in CACC play, including a victory over the region's #1 singles player Jui Mao of Concordia. The Eagles were the only team in the CACC to score a singles victory against Concordia since 2012.

In 2014, he mentored ITA East Regional Singles Champions Liza Dubrovskaya and Martin Munoz.

Howard guided the Eagles men's team to their first-ever CACC Tournament appearance in 2014 with a record of 8-11. Alejandro Perez picked up the most singles victories in school history with 12 on the year. The team of Nicholas Tadros and Peter Fanous tied the program record with nine doubles victories.

In 2012-13, the Eagles set a program record with six victories. Howard mentored Nicholas Tadros, the first All-CACC honoree in program history. Tadros set the school record with nine doubles victories and also amassed six singles wins.

During the 2011-12 season, Howard guided the men’s program to a record three-match winning streak from March 29 – April 3. The Eagles earned victories over American International, Caldwell and Bloomfield. At the end of the win streak, freshman Dreshawn Lewis was named the CACC Rookie of the Week, after he claimed victories in his last four matches of the week.

In 2010-11, Howard mentored Danny Bonamassa to earn the program’s single-season record for wins with seven.

On the women’s side, Post University won the CACC Sportsmanship Award following the 2010 and 2011 seasons.

Howard played collegiately at Texas, and he went on to a professional career in the sport, where he played out of the Nick Bollettieri Tennis Academy.

He currently resides in Ridgefield.
