Don Samatulski is in his first season as an assistant at Post University. Samatulski spent five years as the head coach at Pace University in Pleasantville, N.Y., earning honors as the NCAA Division II Northeast Coach of the Year in 2008.
Samatulski has over 30 years of experience teaching golf, having served as a club professional at seven different golf courses throughout Connecticut since 1977.
He is currently serving as the head professional at Short Beach Golf Course in Stratford, Conn., and also teaches lessons at the First Tee of Connecticut in Stratford and the Golf Center of Connecticut in Shelton.
As a player, Samatulski finished 28th in the 1973 United States Public Links Championship in Flanders, N.J.
He also set course records at the D. Fairchild Wheeler Golf Course in Fairfield, and the Buccanier Hotel and Country Club in St. Croix, U.S. Virgin Islands.
Samatulski currently resides in Shelton.
