An historic venue in the greater Waterbury area, Municipal Stadium is the home facility for the Post University baseball program. The field dimensions are 349 feet down the left field line, 338 feet down the right field line, 382 feet in the power alleys and 400 feet to centerfield.
Opened in 1930, the 3,000-seat venue was the home stadium for the Waterbury Spirit of the independent Northeast/Northern League from 1997-2000, and before that it served as the home ballpark for a Double-A team in the Eastern League until 1986.
The facility will undergo renovations during the summer of 2012.
