Jasmine Day-Cox erupted for 20 points on 6-for-11 shooting for Post University Women's Basketball, while senior forward
Claire Greene had her second consecutive double-double with 18 points on 6-for-7 shooting, making all four of her threes, while grabbing 10 rebounds in a big 81-53 victory for the Eagles at home on Saturday.

HOW IT HAPPENED
Double-digit scoring from three different Eagles paced them in the first half as Day-Cox had a team-high 12 points on 3-for-6 shooting, making 5-of-7 free throws in the process. Both Greene and junior forward
Emma Carman each recorded 10 points apiece, combining to shoot 7-for-8 from the floor and a perfect 4-for-4 from three.
Junior forward Emma Brown was the lone Wildcat player to record double figures in the first half, closing it with 10 points on 3-for-4 shooting, hitting her only three-point attempt. Hot shooting from the Eagles saw them go 9-for-14 from the field in the first quarter, forcing eight Wilmington turnovers, and holding them to 3-for-17 shooting in the same stretch, giving Post a 26-9 lead after one.
By halftime, the lead would extend to 23 points, 46-23, as the Eagles closed at 46.7% from the floor at 14-for-30, while the Wildcats were 7-for-31 overall (22.6%). Post would lead the rebound battle as well, 23-21, while scoring 15 points off turnovers, forcing Wilmington to commit 19 turnovers in the first 20 minutes of play.
The largest lead of the game for Post would come in the fourth, leading by 36 points, 78-42, with 5;07 left, before going on to capture the 28-point victory, 81-53. Day-Cox's 20 points on 6-for-11 shooting were a career high for her, while Greene's double-double with 18 points and 10 rebounds was her second consecutive as well as her second overall this year. Alyssa Rossignol with 13 points, followed by 10 points in 20 minutes off the bench from Carman.
On the Wilmington side, Brown led the way with a double-double, scoring 19 points on 6-for-9 shooting, having an identical mark from the free throw line, while snagging 10 rebounds and fouling out. Senior guard Armani Bell-Jackson was the only other Wildcat in double figures with 15 points on 5-for-15 shooting. Post as a team held Wilmington to just 29.5% shooting, as they were 18-for-61 from the floor, while the Eagles themselves went 25-for-58 (43.1%) from the field, connecting on 9-of-22 (40.9%) of their threes, and 22-of-37 (59.5%) of their free throws in the win.
